Darrin Shillair, Vice President
Darrin Shillair is President at Specialty Sales, a business with a 50+ year history that he acquired in 2018. Specialty Sales is a stocking distributor of hose, tubing, fittings, valves, clamps and other components serving the water treatment, agriculture, food & beverage & car wash industries. Prior to acquiring Specialty Sales, Darrin held several operations leadership and change management roles across a variety of industries, including several years leading consulting engagements for Fortune 100 clients. Darrin has an MBA from the University of Chicago-Booth and a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. In addition to growing Specialty Sales, Darrin enjoys live music, good food & wine, and serves on the board of the LYTE Collective, a non-profit organization serving Chicago youth experiencing homelessness.
