About the presenters:

 

Kay McKeen is the founder and executive director of SCARCE, an award-winning environmental education nonprofit. She has over 3o years of experience educating people on recycling and resource conservation. She also guided schools, businesses, governments, and community organizations to assist them create long-term, healthy changes that benefit our planet, wildlife, and community. Kay has received several major rewards such as Illinois Recycler of the Year.

 

Erin Kennedy joined SCARCE in 2009. Since 2012, she has been accredited by the United States Green Building Council as a Green Associate. As an environmental educator, she leads seminars on topics such as natural resource conservation, recycling, waste reduction practices, and beyond. Erin has also directed waste characterization projects ranging from small schools to major companies.
