What is intrapreneurship? Applying entrepreneurial activities within the family enterprise, specifically encouraging the next generation to innovate within the family business. As defined by Pinchot (1984), intrapreneurs are “dreamers who do. Those who take hands-on responsibility for creating innovation of any kind, within a business”.

Our panelists will be sharing their experiences of fostering intrapreneurship within their companies. Specifically, they will address why they have incorporated intrapreneurship into their businesses and how it has transformed their family and their company. What did you risk? How did you fail and succeed over time?

Other questions to explore:

-Developing talent in your employees and the next generation

-Fostering and nurturing the next generation’s passion

-Building a marketplace for capital

-How does emotional ownership play a role in the development of intrapreneurship?

Takeaways for guests will include how you can diversify, build a culture of innovative leaders, and strengthen the family and enterprise.

Gina Krusinski of Krusinski Construction Company will be honored with CFBC’s Leadership Award during dinner. Gina served on the Executive Committee for four years and is currently the Chairwoman of the Board. We’d like to show our appreciation for all that Gina has done to support and foster growth within the council.
