Point on Protocol: CFBC’s Best Private Dining Rooms

The CFBC knows that it can be challenging to find safe, private rooms with round tables and great service for your Forum meetings. If your Forum is ever struggling to find the perfect venue for your monthly meetings, please reach out to us! We keep a list of great venue options, many of which are referred by your fellow members. You can also check out a list of private dining places in downtown Chicago (note: not all are Forum approved!) on Crain’s list of Best Private Dining Spaces in Chicago.

Below are the top Forum meeting venues in the Chicagoland area, recommended by the CFBC. If you have questions about these venues or would like more information, please let us know. Enjoy & have a wonderful Forum meeting!

  1. Millhurst Charhouse in Oakbrook Terrace, IL
You may recognize this venue from CFBC’s Community In Forum/Forum Training sessions. We rate their private room and location a 5 and think that the set-up is perfect for a Forum meeting. The room is large and quiet with soft, comfortable seating. The staff understands to leave your group alone during your meeting and that you will get them when you are ready for dinner and service.
  2. Nuova Italia Ristorante in Addison, IL
Phoenix Forum rates this venue a 5 across the board! The food is great and the price is wonderful. The Forum group of eight enjoyed appetizers, dinner and dessert for under $325.00 (with additional cost for drinks).
  3. The Capital Grille in Rosemont, IL
This is another venue used by the CFBC for Community In Forum sessions. The food and service are both perfect. However, please be aware that the private room is near the bar. At around 5:30 - 6:00 pm you may hear bar noise while guests are waiting for tables. Illuminati Forum also recommends the room and notes that they are good for last minute booking.
  4. Perry’s Steakhouse in Oak Brook, IL
Not only does Perry’s have excellent food but it also graciously opens its doors for CFBC meetings one hour earlier (at 3:00 pm) than its normal opening time (at 4:00 pm). The CFBC has also hosted a ‘We’re In This Together’ event at Perry’s and we were very pleased with the service and seating.
