JOSEPH BUSINESS SCHOOL STUDENTS GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO TOUR DIANA’S BANANAS WITH OWNER BOB CARMODY OCT. 20

Joseph Business School students will be given the opportunity to see firsthand, the operations and logistics of Diana’s Bananas. Owner, Bob Carmody, stated that he would be delighted to show the Joseph Business School (JBS) students around his facility on Saturday, Oct. 20, between 9 – 10 am. The business will not be in production during this time; however JBS students will still be able to learn the process behind the company.

Mr. Carmody is a dynamite man with a dynamite business, but above all, he has a dynamite story that all entrepreneurs should hear.  Although he is very humble and rarely takes credit for this feat, he is a shrewd, but generous business person who is always giving back to others. Mr. Carmody is, and remains, a big supporter of Veteran Entrepreneurship. Admiral Mullen, U.S. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, enjoyed his tour of Diana’s Bananas in 2010, while encouraging returning Vets to get involved with small business entrepreneurship. The JBS students will also find Mr. Carmody’s story and tour to be just as amazing as Adm. Mullen.

Mr. Carmody has always been selfless and helped out when needed. He has been featured many times in the media. In 2010, Mark Ferguson of U.S. Small Business Administration wrote a success story about Mr. Carmody and Diana’s Bananas. Students will have access to this story prior to their tour. Mr. Carmody is proof that your feet can only take you where your mind has been.
