Thank You! Seriously.

Member/Friend Appreciation.

My friend and TAU Forummate, Art Lukowski, has taught me so much over the years.  I feel like I’ve been a part of his journey, the ups and downs, trials and tribulations, always trying to “keep a stiff upper lip” as my father, Ed would say, when things weren’t going right.

I look at Art as a friend and mentor, one of the people I’ve become closest to over the years.  We share in common an interesting sense of humor and have laughed so hard together that it made my face hurt, I love that feeling.  Art has taught me how to be a better father, to keep trying even when your kids are in a rough spot, especially at that point…he’s mentored me to be a better leader, helped, along with my other Taumates, to take on this role of EFBC president and, most importantly, how to better listen and be empathetic.

Now, I think that it’s OK to say, Art has sold Oil Express and is moving on to a new, and exciting, chapter in his life.  It’s been really cool to see how Arty worked so hard in and then primarily on his business to make it salable and in a pristine package.  As someone who staring down the path of 30 years of the future of business, it’s so reassuring to see Art come out on top.

Thanks, Art, and TAU – Gina, Paula, Chris, Scotty, Darrin and AJ.  I appreciate every one of you, thank you for sharing your lives with me, and for listening to my stories.

Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas EFBC!

Neil O'Donnell
VP of Business Development, Progressive Industries
EFBC President 2021-2022
