President’s Message – The New EFBC
To kickoff our 25th Anniversary year, we launched our new brand as the Entrepreneur and Family Business Council at DePaul University.
I am hoping by now you have seen our rocking rebrand of the EFBC. It took an immense amount of work and effort by our strategic planning committee, strategic partners, executive committee and staff to make this happen. It was a long and sometimes arduous process that seemed like there may be no end in sight. We persisted through multiple meetings, visits to Forums, more meetings and communications with the Board to make it all happen. The hundreds of hours of work by everyone involved for over a year was well worth the effort. We’ve been able to break through to the other side and announce the new EFBC brand! I want to personally thank everyone involved - it was an honor to work with everyone to make this all happen.
In our 25th year, EFBC has plenty of great events planned, starting with the ‘90s Anniversary Kickoff Party at Joe's Live in Rosemont with the awesome band Run Forrest Run! As many of you know, I am a rock and roll music nut and there’s nothing I enjoy more than live music. Couple the live performances with the awesome people at EFBC and this event rocked out!
